Review of the 24th Beijing Art Expo in 2024
The 24th Beijing Art Expo 2024, jointly organized by Beijing Yibo Chang 'e International Convention and Exhibition Center and Beijing Jin Shangyi Art Foundation, and co-organized by Beijing Shi Qi Art Foundation, Beijing Cultural and Creative Painting Academy, Art Media (Beijing) Co., LTD., Beijing Fashion Classic Art Exchange Center and other units, came to an end at Beijing Exhibition Center on September 9th.
Feng Yuan, honorary chairman of the China Artists Association, and Shi Qi, president of the Beijing Shi Qi Painting Academy, Yang Xiaoyang, Chairperson of the China Association for the Promotion of Culture and Art; Ning Qiang, Director of the Art Research Institute of Beijing Foreign Studies University and member of the Academic Committee of the Beijing Jin Shangyi Art Foundation; Wang Yue, Chairperson of the Beijing Jin Shangyi Art Foundation; Gao Tianxiong, Professor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts; Ding Yilin, Professor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts; Ma Jingru, Professor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts; Director of the Teaching Department of the Chinese Oil Painting Academy of the Chinese National Academy of Arts Ren Sun Wengang, Danilik Larisa, Executive Director of the Moscow Public Foundation for Cultural Promotion and Contemporary Art Development, Russia, Kim Jin-kun, Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in China, Ai Shuguang, member of the Overseas Liaison Committee of the Central Committee of the China Zhi Gong Party, Zhang Yang, Vice President of Beijing 3D Investment Fund Management Co., LTD., Yan Shuai, Deputy Director of the Office of the China Association for the Promotion of Culture and Art Development, Quan Yingsheng, vice president of Beijing Cartoon Research Institute, Chen Xiaoxiao, secretary-general of Beijing Jin Shangyi Art Foundation, Chen Leisheng, director of Beijing Exchange Center of China National Ethnic Painting and Calligraphy Academy, Qiao Guojin, Special Envoy for Culture and Art of Nepal, Chen Minggui, vice president of Qinghai Charity Federation, and Pan Jun, president of Beijing Huayusen Culture Media Co., LTD., attended the opening ceremony.
This event, themed "Art Igniting the Future", integrates modern and contemporary art. With a total exhibition area of 10,000 square meters, it has attracted over 150 galleries and art institutions from more than ten countries and regions at home and abroad to participate. More than 8,000 artworks are displayed and traded on site.

The 2024 Beijing Art Fair has built an exchange and cooperation platform for communication, collaboration, openness and sharing for the global art community, attracting the Omelchenko Gallery and Form & Bronze Gallery from Russia, the Pan Gallery from Italy, the Ula Gallery and the Rare Gallery from Kazakhstan, and the Tala Art Museum from Mongolia. More than 30 galleries from over 10 overseas countries, including the SNJ Art Management Organization of South Korea, participated in the exhibition.
This year's Beijing Art Fair is also a grand event featuring a gathering of classics and renowned artists. Art institutions such as the Beijing Jin Shangyi Art Foundation, Beijing Shi Qi Academy of Painting, Wutong Art Museum, Shengzan Gallery, Yingluan Gallery, Jingzhengpai, Shanghai Dongni Gallery, Taihe Art Space, Yushan Contemporary Art Museum, and Art Gallery are present. It brings together works by renowned artists such as Wu Guanzhong, Feng Qusi, Luo Erchun, Dai Ze, Jin Shangyi, Yang Feiyun, Shi Qi, Yang Xiaoyang, Lin Rongsheng, Jia Guangjian, Dong Hao, Ning Qiang, Tan Ping and Su Xinping.
The Beijing Art Fair combines tradition with modernity. The contemporary exhibition area showcases works by artists such as Wang Huaxiang, Zhou Jirong, Liu Yimeng, Quan Yingsheng, Wang Niandong, CAI Meizhi, LAN Libin, Zhang Shengzan, Wang Dongni, Wang Baisong, Wang Xiaodong, Gu Yiming, Chen Yanmei, Peng Qi, Cao Zhanyun, Nan Xi and Sun Liming.
